Course Details
There are four modules spread over four weeks, but you can work your way through the course at your own pace. Each module contains a video explaining the subject for that week, a video demonstration of the subject in action, and an exercise for you to practice in your car. The exercise comes in video, audio and PDF format so you can learn in the way that best suits you.
What you will learn on this course:
How to calm a busy mind right from the start, making sure your drives begin in a way that sets you up for less stress.
The power of self-awareness and movement and how these can help you focus your attention on driving while reducing distraction in the process.
An understanding of how your thoughts influence your experience, and what you can do to cultivate a more positive perspective, even in difficult situations.
How to be more curious about what driving means to you, and be invited to bring this sense of curiosity into all aspects of your drive.
How ‘JARs’ cause stress and what you can do to let go of the negative thinking patterns that keep you trapped.
Once you’ve completed the four modules you can book your 1:1 coaching call with me, where we will discuss your progress and plan out your next steps to developing your skills and making sure you continue feeling the benefits of this course. This call is a great opportunity for you to get some personalised advice and ask any questions you have about mindful driving.

You can learn how to lay the foundations of a stress free drive in just 4 weeks. It's not hard to do but it does require effort, so if you truly want a better driving experience take positive action today towards that goal. You can become a relaxed, confident driver... I've seen it happen.

FAQs

Is this course right for me?

This course was built for anyone wanting to reduce the stress they experience when driving, from mild irritation to a fear that stops them from even getting in the car in the first place. So if you’re not enjoying your drive at the moment, to any degree, then you would benefit from this training. And if you’re one of the many people out there who feel that their confidence is on the floor right now then please know that it doesn’t have to be that way and there are some simple steps you can take to not only tolerate driving, but actually enjoy it.

How does the training work?

Over the four weeks you will work through a series of lessons that will help you refocus your awareness and attention on you, how you feel and what you’re thinking. By becoming more aware of these you’ll learn how to let go of the negative thinking patterns that cause you stress and see that there is always a different, more positive perspective to be found. This different, and often new way of seeing things brings with it a greater understanding of your own emotions and empowers you to choose your experience. Once you’ve completed the course we get to have a 30 minute 1:1 coaching call so you can have any questions answered and we can plan your next steps for developing your driving practice.

Why should I sign up to this course?

This course is unique and will give you the tools and understanding to reduce stress and increase confidence, as well as give you the freedom to choose how you want to feel about driving. Previous Mindful Driver clients have overcome their fears, such as of driving across bridges, they’ve found the confidence to drive on their own after years of not being able to, and they’ve reduced their reactiveness to difficult situations allowing them to let go of stress quickly and get on with their day. Less stress in our lives helps our minds and bodies rest, repair, recover and stay healthy.
